We were team mates at our gymnastics club, so we are used to pushing each other forward. We team up once again, this time it was to support Souadou’s project to come up with a solution to the waste laying around town, that no one seemed to care for.
Your products and services :
We plan on up-cycling urban waste, our first step being waste tires.
We process the tires into shoe soles and flooring applications (tiles and paving)
Your success factors
The raw material we work with is abundant, renewable and cheap. The initial investment is high due to the cost of equipment, but use fairly little resources to operate. The products we propose are new to the market and offer specific properties the competition can’t match as of now.
Your factors differentiating and disruptive compared to the existing
The rubber based shoe soles and tiles, are highly durable, cushioning and sound dampening. Our tiles are installed with little effort and can be moved fairly easily after installation whereas the classic tiles are of a more permanent fixture. Our R&D is also working on connected solutions to embed in our products, we should see some new uses to floor tiles soon.
Your business model (how do you make money?)
We will make money by direct sales primarily, we will also offer installation and maintenance services as well as an end-of-life product retrieval option.
A few words about your competitors
We have no direct competition, and those we have are resellers so have no control over the product. The selection of products is the same and present high installation cost and delay.
