Health is wealth, at L’Afrika Integrated Farms we solve the problem of poultry feeds and products contamination that leads to various diseases and ultimately death, which claims about 400,000 lives yearly. We achieve this by replacing the synthetic micronutrients in the feed with herbal alternatives leveraging on the local contextual natural resources of our rich continent, Mother Africa.
We offer clean poultry products; our birds are fed on feeds with herbal micronutrients. Our success factors are: it has improved the health and well-being of the consumers, it has been locally accepted, increased labour force and healthy family.
L’Afrika Integrated Farms was founded by Sipasi Olalekan Ayodele, a professional Animal Scientist, Social Innovative Programme Fellow of LEAP Africa, recipient of the 2015 Hidden Eco-Hero Award with over 20 years’ experience on the field, co-founded by Adedeji Adedoyin an ICT expert and Ajayi Olakunle an experienced marketer.
The idea emanated from my undergraduate research work on the replacement of synthetic micronutrients with herbal alternative. The result showed positive, herbal micronutrients was able to mimic the effect of synthetic micronutrients effectively at a particular inclusion ratio. The replacement of synthetic micronutrients in the feed of poultry birds with herbal alternatives is more cost effective, low feed, more profit for the farmer, reduced cost of production because it makes the birds healthier, thereby less expenses on drugs.

Factors differentiating us from our competitor is the inclusion of herbal alternatives to mimic the function of the conventionally available synthetic amino acids (micronutrients) content of poultry feed, which is responsible clean and healthy poultry products. Currently, as the middle class of the Nigerian economy is growing, citizens are more conscious of what they consume, hence our Unique Value Proposition.
Your business model (how do you make money?)
We generate revenue from the sales of Poultry products (Chicken and eggs), Organic Manure for organic vegetable farming, Poultry Feeds with herbal micronutrients and consultancy services.
A few words about your competitors
There are a lot of competitors in the poultry and poultry feed industry. This is no problem because the market is large enough to occupy all the competitors, in the same vain, people want trusted source of a clean, cheap and healthy products which we offer through the uniqueness of our herbal content.
