I have a Master of Business Administration<\/strong> and thanks to my experience\u00a0in the investment banking sector in New York<\/strong>, I was able to\u00a0provide\u00a0assets\/risk management services to English speaking people willing to invest in the French speaking countries of West Africa<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

I was truly enjoying my new life in Cotonou the biggest city of Benin<\/strong> except that washing my car\u00a0whenever I wanted was a challenge. At\u00a0every car wash center,\u00a0I was asked to either wait\u00a0or to leave the\u00a0vehicle\u00a0and come back. None of these options were viable for me because time was the last thing I had to spare.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u00a0asked myself why nobody comes to my apartment\u00a0or my office to wash my car whenever I wanted?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

From that moment, I decided to look for solutions and Triton<\/strong> came to life\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

The Triton is a tricycle\u00a0that comes to you anywhere and anytime\u00a0to wash your car.\u00a0It\u00a0employs 2 persons that vacuum the interior of your car and wash the exterior with water and biodegradable soap. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

No need\u00a0to go to any car wash center nor wait your turn to get your car washed.\u00a0For\u00a0less than 2 US Dollars and\u00a0without leaving your office or house,\u00a0your car is washed.\u00a0Just\u00a0call or WhatsApp\u00a0us and within\u00a030 minutes\u00a0a\u00a0team will\u00a0come to you. You save both time and money.<\/span><\/p>\n

In Cotonou people tend to think that water washes cars and they use around 100 liters to do the job. At\u00a0Triton, we\u00a0wash a car with less than 30 liters and we can\u00a0wash up to 50 cars at once before refilling our water tank. <\/span><\/p>\n

Most vacuums have a power consumption of 1,500 watts and they are used\u00a0for at least 15 minutes to clean the interior of a car. That is 0.4 kW\/h of energy consumed per car. Our vacuums are powered with 75 watts and use only 0.02kW\/h to clean a\u00a0car. <\/span><\/p>\n

We have not only\u00a0reduced by 3 the amount of water we\u00a0used to wash any car in Cotonou but we have also reduced by 16 the amount of energy\u00a0consumed to vacuum a car. Last but not least, our vacuums are not powered through the grid. In fact, it is powered through a battery that get\u00a0recharged\u00a0every time the tricycle moves around\u2026.<\/span><\/p>\n

We have been in business\u00a0for\u00a03 months and we have washed more than 800 cars\u00a0while improving income and working conditions for the 15-people working with us.\u00a0Those washing cars\u00a0are\u00a0not too educated and we invest heavily\u00a0in their personal development.\u00a0We work on improving their\u00a0self-knowledge,\u00a0awareness and potential while teaching them new skills that can help them improve their social abilities.<\/span><\/p>\n

What make us special at Triton\u00a0is that\u00a0more that 60 percent of our people are under 28\u00a0and none of us has 35 years old. This represents a challenge and an opportunity because we need to ensure that our people have access to training and are\u00a0given opportunity to fully realize their capabilities. <\/span><\/p>\n

We want to create more than 240 direct jobs<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0provide more that 20,000\u00a0car wash services to the people of Cotonou.\u00a0Employment is a key pillar of development\u00a0for any nation and at Triton, we\u00a0have the opportunity to\u00a0drive an incredible job growth in Cotonou and other big cities of Africa.<\/span><\/p>\n

Going one step further, we want to\u00a0use innovative technologies to improve our operational efficiency and effectiveness\u00a0while enhancing the customers experience. <\/span><\/p>\n
