Nek’zali is a three-phase encounter centered around heavy spirit-summoning mechanics. Add control is absolutely crucial, especially in the areas where Corrupted Spirits are summoned. The raid also has to manage constant incoming damage and make sure to interrupt Nek’zali’s ritual before the final empowered phase to prevent a wipe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tanks should swap regularly to manage Sever and Hollowed stacks. Healers need to prepare cooldowns for Soulcoil Rite and prevent too many souls from reaching the well, while also keeping the group well-healed during Uncoiling. Entombed Sentinels<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
The most important thing in this encounter is for tanks to keep the two bosses apart, because otherwise, they become nearly immune to damage. Tanks should also swap whenever their debuff stacks become too high.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
DPS players are expected to have strong single-target damage and get rid of Toxic Droplets and the Venom Coagulation slime as quickly as possible. Anyone affected by Helical Toxins should intentionally collide with other poisoned players until the debuff reaches four stacks and disappears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Vashnik the Malignant<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Vashnik constantly pressures the raid with stacking poison debuffs and dangerous environmental hazards. Every venomous creature must be dealt with before they reach the Malignant Cavity, or you will suffer heavy group-wide damage and a nasty DoT effect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Watch your positioning around contaminated zones and the venom fountains Vashnik drains throughout the fight. Players targeted by poison effects should immediately move away from the group. Tanks need to manage Dripping Fangs, while healers should prepare for Adaptive Infection and be ready to dispel frequently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Lost Explorers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
This encounter pits your raid against several tortollans under Mor’zahi’s control. Stuns, interrupts, and crowd control are incredibly valuable here; Disgusting Fish must be used to interrupt Mor’zahi’s concentration and prevent his ascension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Avoid ground effects at all times and make sure fire and frost mechanics never overlap. Tanks should monitor Shredding Shards and Steady Strikes, swapping whenever their stacks become dangerous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sszorak<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
This one is much more of a raw damage check than a mechanically heavy encounter, so you should expect heavy attacks and constant raid pressure throughout the fight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Position carefully during Howling Maelstrom, then take full advantage of the boss’s temporary damage vulnerability to burn him down ASAP. Tanks should plan their defensives and keep track of Corroding Venom stacks. Healers need to stay alert throughout the encounter due to the continuous raid-wide damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Twin Fangs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
The Twin Fangs features two bosses\u2014Vexhul and Ithraz\u2014each bringing their own mechanics to the fight. Tank swaps and coordinated positioning are absolutely essential from start to finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Avoid the bosses’ 100-energy attacks, Caustic Deluge, and Corrosive Spit. When Stone Breaker comes, though, you actually want to get hit by it to prevent massive raid-wide damage. Once one Twin falls, quickly finish off the other before the survivor’s DoT ramps up. Throughout the encounter, healers should carefully manage Eternal Venom stacks and prevent them from going higher than seven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Coiled Altar<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
While battling Zul’jan, players must intercept beams to stop the boss from gaining Fang Empowered, while also keeping blood pools under control and dodging the axes. Healers should pay close attention to group-wide damage as well as players soaking the beams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Phase two introduces Malacrass, bringing a group-soak mechanic and platform-edge pulls. In the final phase, mechanics from both previous encounters are combined, putting your group’s coordination and awareness to the ultimate test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
